2018 Jeep Wrangler: Continuing The Go-Anywhere Legacy Of The Original

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler is the spiritual descendant of the original Jeep that made history supporting our armed forces in countless conflicts, starting with World War 2. The 2018 Wrangler represents the twelfth and final year of the current JK platform, which was first introduced for the 2007 model year. The next Wrangler will ride on the all-new JL platform.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler is instantly identifiable through its signature design features. The classic round headlamps, the seven-slot grille, the trapezoid wheel flares, the removable doors with exposed hinges, and the fold-down windshield immediately identify this incredibly capable off-road icon.

New For 2018 On The Jeep Wrangler

The Rubicon has Rock-Trac part-time 4WD with a shift-on-the-fly transfer case and a 4:1 low-gear ratio.

Every 2018 Wrangler Gets The Same Brawny Engine

The standard and only engine available in the 2018 Jeep Wrangler is the 3.6L Pentastar V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. It has been specially engineered for its role in the Wrangler, and produces lots of torque at the low end for the best off-road performance. All 2018 Wranglers have a standard six-speed manual transmission, with the option of a five-speed automatic.

2018 Wrangler Rubicon: The King Of The Off-Road

If you are a hard-core off-roader, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is for you. It's got a 4:1 Rock-Trac part-time 4WD system, Next Generation Dana 44 heavy-duty axles with 4.10 ratios front and rear and Tru-Lok differentials, performance suspension, and 17” polished mineral gray wheels with 32” tires. You can dress it up with heated leather seats, Alpine 9-speaker weatherproof audio system with subwoofer, GPS navigation, Uconnect Voice Command with Bluetooth, and even a Wi-Fi hotspot!

Wrangler Safety Is Both Active And Passive

In addition to its unique ability to get you through just about any road or weather conditions, the 2018 Wrangler has many safety systems built right in. You get airbags, anti-lock brakes, electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability control, and hill start assist, all standard.
