The Audi Q7 was first released as a 2007 model. Based on the same platform as its Porsche Cayenne and Volkswagen Touareg siblings, the Q7 was and is the only one of the three to offer three-row seating. The second-generation Audi Q7 was released for the 2016 model year, so the 2018 Q7 represents the third year of this second generation.
